Why we're moving forward.

Technology is constantly advancing. As we progress towards 4G and 5G networks, older technologies like 3G have to be closed so that customers can enjoy new applications, services and a better mobile experience.

Singtel will be retiring its 3G network from 1 November 2024. If you are using a 3G-only, 4G non-VoLTE or other older, incompatible phone or 3G SIM, you will need to upgrade your phone or SIM to continue to enjoy connectivity.

Switch to Singtel 5G now to elevate how you live, work and play.

How to tell if you’re still on a 3G or incompatible phone?

If you're on a 3G-only mobile phone, you'll see a 3G network bar or 'H+' icon in the top-right corner of your phone screen all the time.

If you're using a 3G SIM card, you'll see a 3G network bar or 'H+' icon in the top-right corner of your phone screen all the time; AND you will have received an SMS or direct mailer from Singtel to upgrade your SIM.
If you're on an older, incompatible mobile phone, you would have received an SMS or mailer from Singtel notifying you of the need to switch to a new phone. Click here to check if your phone is compatible.
