If you’re subscribed to a ReadyRoam plan, the same ReadyRoam plan at the same bundle rate will be automatically added to your line.

For example: if you’re in Thailand and subscribed to ReadyRoam Neighbours 1GB at $5 from 1 August to 30 August. If you exceed 1GB on 3 August, another 1GB at $5 will be automatically added, valid till 30 August.

As long as you have an active ReadyRoam plan and are connected to our preferred partners' networks, it will be ensured that there will be no pay-per-use roaming data charges.

If you've subscribed to a monthly recurring plan, data usage exceeding the bundle will be charged at a Pay-Per-Use rate based on your plan rate.

Usually, such issues can be resolved by a few simple steps, such as turning on data roaming settings on your phone and My Singtel app, or simply restarting your phone.

Yes, several Singtel mobile plans include built-in roaming data. Worldwide roaming data is included with Enhanced M, Priority L, Priority Pro, and Priority FAM phone plans. Asia roaming data is included with Enhanced Core, Priority Plus, and Priority Ultra SIM Only plans. To check whether your specific plan includes roaming data, log into the My Singtel app or visit singtel.com/roaming.

If your bundled roaming data runs out and AutoReadyRoam is enabled, Singtel will automatically subscribe you to ReadyRoam plan for your destination, so your data continues without interruption. AutoReadyRoam is included with all Singtel mobile plans. If AutoReadyRoam is turned off, you may incur pay-per-use roaming charges. You can check your AutoReadyRoam setting in the My Singtel app.

To activate Singtel roaming before you travel, follow these steps:

(1) Choose and subscribe to a roaming plan through the My Singtel app or singtel.com/roaming.

(2) Activate Pay-As-U-Roam if it's not already enabled on your line.

(3) When you arrive at your destination, switch off airplane mode.

(4) Turn on data roaming in your phone's settings. Your roaming service should connect automatically once these steps are complete.

What are some quick device-settings should I enable before I can use roaming overseas? Before using Singtel roaming overseas, make sure these settings are enabled:

(1) Data roaming is turned on in your phone's mobile network settings (Settings → Mobile Data → Data Roaming on most devices).

(2) Roaming is enabled in the My Singtel app under your line settings.

(3) Airplane mode is switched off. If you haven't yet chosen a roaming plan, do that first through the My Singtel app or singtel.com/roaming.

To avoid pay-per-use roaming charges on Singtel, take these three steps before you travel:

(1) Keep AutoReadyRoam turned on — this automatically moves you to the cheapest ReadyRoam plan if your bundled data runs out, instead of charging per use.

(2) Subscribe to a roaming plan before departure so you have a fixed data allowance.

(3) Set roaming spend alerts and data limits in the My Singtel app so you're notified before any unexpected charges occur.
