Celebrate Jia Le Channel’s second anniversary with Taiwanese variety show “Super Nightclub”

Singapore, 21 August, 2013 – In celebration of Jia Le Channel’s second anniversary, Singtel mio TV is bringing all our customers a series of fantastic deals and events in the coming month. Jia Le Channel is Singtel’s first self-packaged Asian entertainment channel.   

In partnership with Taiwan’s Sanlih Television, Jia Le Channel is bringing the popular Taiwanese variety show, “Super Nightclub” <超级夜总会> to Singapore. The programme regularly features some of the biggest stars in various song and dance performances. Hosts Peng Chia Chia (澎恰恰) and Xu Xiao Shun (许效舜) will be joined by local celebrities, Mark Lee and Liu Ling Ling at the “Jia Le Channel Happy 2-gether Carnival” at the Lawn @ River Valley (Viridian Art House, 70 River Valley Road) on 7 September at 5pm.

The cast of “KO One Re-act <终极一班 3>, currently top-rated in Taiwan, SpeXial, Pets Tseng, and the cast of the popular long running drama series “Women” <天下女人心>, will put on their best acts to entertain Singaporean viewers. A special episode of “Super Nightclub” will be recorded at the carnival and broadcast to audiences worldwide. 

Another thing to look out for from 20 August to 15 September is the roving “Happy 2-gether Jia Le Express”. The vehicle is fully equipped with a stage and will be lighting up the heartlands in places such as Giant at Tampines, IMM, Fu Lu Shou Complex and Seng Hong Temple along Arumugam Road. The public can enjoy “live” performances and Singtel mio TV subscribers stand to win attractive prizes at the events.

Since the launch of Jia Le Channel (Channel 502) on Singtel mio TV in 2011, the channel has brought top-rated Taiwanese programmes in their original language to audiences in Singapore. In the past two years, the channel has expanded to include immensely popular programmes from countries in the region such as China, Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. This variety of programmes covers topics such as travel, music, movies, interviews, entertainment, food, comedies and more.

 

How to subscribe

From just $29.90 per month, customers and new subscribers can enjoy Jia Le Channel and other channels such as KBS World HD, CTI Asia, One HD, STAR Chinese Channel and Nat Geo Wild HD when they subscribe to the Jingxuan+ pack.
