ESPN STAR Sports and Singtel launch 3G mobile video streaming on Mobile ESPN

F1 Fans to catch inaugural Korean GP live on Mobile ESPN, online on ESPN Player and on STAR Sports on Singtel’s mio TV

22 October 2010, Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports, Asia’s biggest sports content provider, and Singtel,Asia’s leading communications group, will launch the new 3G mobile offering, Mobile ESPN, featuring LIVE and on-demand premium world-class mobile sports content to fans in Singapore.

Aimed at elevating the experience of sport fans always on the go, Mobile ESPN will showcase a stellar line-up of world class sports content such as the Formula One, Moto GP, FA Cup, Wimbledon, Australian Open and ICC Cricket tournaments, available exclusively to Singtel mobile subscribers.

With the launch of Mobile ESPN LIVE streaming, sport fans in Singapore will have more to cheer as they can now catch live sports anytime, anywhere on mobile, online or on television. In addition to Mobile ESPN, this Sunday’s highly-anticipated inaugural F1 Korean Grand Prix race will be available live online on ESPN Player and broadcast on STAR Sports on Singtel’s mio TV.

Sport fans can also access F1 and FA Cup highlights, as well as SportsCenter mobile video updates, as well as the very latest team updates and pre-match statistics by football experts on ScoreCast before the weekend’s live Barclays Premier League matches.
