ETTV Asia Channel and Asia Plus now available on mio TV

Singapore, 31 March 2008 -- Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) announced today that following multiple requests from local viewers, mio TV will be launching ETTV Asia Channel and Asia Plus from tomorrow, 1 April 2008.

Featuring top quality Chinese variety and entertainment programmes from Taiwan, ETTV Asia Channel and Asia Plus offer local audiences greater choice and value.
 
Belonging to Taiwan’s largest cable operator, ETTV Asia Channel offers viewers a host of informative and highly entertaining lifestyle and variety programmes such as “Puppy Oh My Love” (hosted by Phoebe Huang), “The Star Chef” (hosted by Ah-Jiao) and drama serial “The Spicy Family”, starring Lan Hsin Mei.
 
Asia Plus is renowned for holding exclusive broadcast rights to some of Asia’s most prestigious award ceremonies, such as Golden Melody Awards, Golden Bell Awards and Golden Horse Awards.  With its stable of A-list hosts – Patty Hou, Tien Hsin, Tsai Kang Yong, Phoebe Huang, and well-received variety programmes such as “Good Food” (hosted by Jiao Zhi Fang), “Fortune Knows It All” (hosted by Phoebe Huang) and” Enews@Azio” (hosted by Patty Hou), Asia Plus strikes a chord with Singaporeans who are followers of the Taiwanese entertainment scene.
