Europe’s leading international news channel offers wide ranging content in four languages
Singapore, 13 October 2008 – Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) announced today that it will premiere Europe’s No. 1 international news channel - euronews - on mio TV Channel 44 from 15 October 2008. euronews will broadcast exclusively in Singapore 24 hours a day simultaneously where viewers can have four different languages - English, French, German and Italian to watch the channel. mio TV subscribers can preview the channel from 15 to 19 October on mio TV’s Channel 0.
euronews is a multilingual news channel that provides international news from a European perspective. The channel runs an updated bulletin every 30 minutes containing in-depth coverage of the day's top news, sport, business and European affairs, and a comprehensive weather forecast. euronews also brings a wide range of current affairs and lifestyle features including cinema, science, fashion and web-news.
