New Family Entertainment Channel in HD with Top US shows including The X Factor USA, Beauty & the Beast and Elementary, available on the Family+ Pack
Singapore, 9 October, 2013 – Singtel mio TV and RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network today announced a carriage deal to bring the newly-launched RTL CBS Entertainment HD channel to Singapore starting October 16. The channel will be added to the Family+ Pack at no extra charge, and all Singtel mio TV customers will enjoy a free preview of the channel from 16 October to 17 November.
On Singtel mio TV Channel 318, RTL CBS Entertainment HD will feature first-run shows from RTL Group’s content arm, FremantleMedia which produces and distributes some of the world’s top and most successful entertainment brands including The X Factor, Got Talent, Hole in the Wall and The Price is Right. CBS Studio International is one of America’s top four entertainment networks, and owns a vast catalogue of more than 70,000 hours of programming. It produces highly-rated US dramas and entertainment shows including Elementary, Under the Dome, Late Show with David Letterman and Entertainment Tonight.

For the first time in Singapore, brand new episodes of shows such as Entertainment Tonight air within 24 hours of their US broadcast, while the Late Show with David Letterman airs within 48 hours.
Viewers can also look forward to the exclusive Asia premiere of new seasons of US TV series such as Elementary starring Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu, Beauty and the Beast starring Kristin Kreuk and Under The Dome, as well as the latest seasons of the world’s top reality shows such as X Factor USA via satellite on the same day and date as the US broadcast.
