mio TV and STAR Sports to delight fans with four additional F1 feeds, enhancing their F1 viewing experience like never before
Singapore, 22 March, 2013 – Formula One fans in Singapore will be treated to a ‘multiplied’ viewing experience of the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship with the availability of mio TV’s ‘Sports Multiview’, a multi-screen channel offering viewers four additional exciting angles of this year’s most exciting motor event. The additional views, provided by leading regional sports channel STAR Sports, and available on Singtel mio TV channel 118, are set to provide Singtel mio TV subscribers with the best ever F1 viewing experience to date.
Launched successfully last week at the F1 ROLEX Australia Grand Prix, the F1 Sports Multiview will be available for the entire 2013 F1 season, starting again this weekend at the F1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix, from 22 – 24 March.
Fans will be thrilled with access to the additional views for all LIVE broadcasts of the Practice, Qualifying and Race days, all in high-definition. The extra feeds will be sure to impress F1 fans with the following:
- Main Race (Lead feed) – Catch all the race action across all feeds of the current race
- Onboard (Driver Cam) - Watch all the action unfold directly from the driver’s seat
- Pit Lane (Pit Cam) – Get access to the action happening in the pits with an insight into the challenges and pressures experienced by the Formula One teams
- Telemetry (Distance Measurement) – Updates viewers on all the race data via the information screen
Fans will be treated to even more exciting F1 action this whole season, with the next races happening this weekend at the F1 PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix from 22 – 24 March.
In addition, viewers will be able to toggle between the different feeds to enjoy the commentary that accompanies each feed, for maximum F1 enjoyment.
