Coverage includes the first High Definition telecast of all the 49 games and Hindi match commentary of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011
10 February 2011, Singapore – Singtel and ESPN STAR Sports today announced their plan to broadcast the ICC Cricket World Cup (ICC CWC), Cricket’s biggest global event, exclusively on Singtel’s mio TV, bringing all 49 matches live in both high and standard definition, to cricket fans in Singapore from 19 February to 2 April.
This edition of the ICC CWC will feature a series of firsts including the High Definition broadcast of all 49 games, the introduction of the Decision Review System (DRS) which further enhances viewer engagement, and the broadcast of cricket’s flagship tournament with both English and Hindi commentary.
For the first time in Singapore, cricket fans will be able to enjoy all 49 games live and exclusive on Singtel’s mio TV over four channels dedicated to the ICC CWC.

Ch 125 & 126 (HD) – 49 games in High Definition
In addition, ESPN STAR Sports, as the ICC’s global production and broadcast partner, will also feature a number of on-air enhancements, compelling graphics presentation as well as peerless match presentation from a star-studded line-up of experts from the world of cricket.
This will provide audiences with a cricket experience like no other - featuring coverage of every match by 27 cameras, including innovative features like movable slips cameras and new low 45-degree field cameras. The production will also have a mid-wicket camera positioned for live running between wickets.
Cricket’s most iconic event will evoke unparalleled enthusiasm and passion as the 10th edition of the tournament returns to the Indian sub-continent after 15 years. In addition, this year’s ICC CWC is widely considered as one of the most keenly contested tournaments with many teams starting as strong favourites, including South Africa, England, Australia and the hosts India and Sri Lanka.
