Singtel to offer IP VPN solutions in Qatar and the Middle East
Agreement with Qtel further strengthens Singtel’s presence in the Middle East
Singapore, 3 March 2009 – Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) today announced it has entered into an agreement with Qtel, Qatar’s leading telecommunications provider, to extend its Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP VPN) services in Qatar and the Middle East.
With this agreement, companies in the Middle East can enjoy superior network connectivity and IP solutions linking key business cities in Asia, Europe and the US via Singtel’s ConnectPlus IP VPN service.
Singtel’s ConnectPlus IP VPN is an award winning, fully managed and secure networking solution for corporate customers.

Qatar’s GDP per capita has been forecasted to reach US$63,867 by the end of 2009
