Singtel secures largest market share for international IP VPN solutions 

Singtel tops analyst rankings

Singapore, 2 January 2009 – Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) today announced it is the leading international Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP VPN) service provider in Asia Pacific excluding Japan (APEJ). 

 
According to IDC’s latest Asia/Pacific Semiannual Fixed-Line Telecom Services Tracker, First Half 2008 report, Singtel has secured the largest revenue market share in the region.
 
Based on Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology, Singtel’s IP VPN service enables companies to communicate seamlessly and cost-effectively between their offices around the world, with coverage in more than 65 destinations, including major Asian, European and US cities.
