Singapore, 18 July 2018 – Singtel’s Group CFO Ms Lim Cheng Cheng has been named Best CFO for listed companies with a market capitalisation of S$1 billion and above at the Singapore Corporate Awards 2018 held this evening.

The Best CFO award recognises CFOs who play a significant role in supporting, advocating and promoting good corporate governance, disclosure as well as transparency; and who effectively partner the business in navigating change and creating long-term sustainable shareholder value.  

As Group CFO, Ms Lim has been instrumental in championing the transformation of the finance function to support the Singtel Group’s ongoing digital transformation journey, and unlocking the value in NetLink Trust through divestment with an IPO in 2017.

Ms Lim said, “This award truly belongs to the entire finance team for their dedication and commitment as Singtel builds out new digital businesses and strengthens our core business. We are honoured that our achievements and commitment to strong corporate governance have been acknowledged by our peers.”

The Singapore Corporate Awards recognises and honours SGX-listed companies, as well as individuals who, through their corporate practices, have helped to raise Singapore's corporate disclosure standards and corporate governance.
