Passengers share their memories with Singtel to win a Nokia N73
Singapore, 10 November 2006 -- Singtel Mobile subscribers on MRT trains are the first to experience a revolutionary new advertising medium that allows everyone to become part of an ad - just by sitting down!
Passengers on MRT rides along the North South & East West Lines would already have noticed the range of amusing backdrops on the train window panels. There’s a dramatic afro wig for aspiring disco divas, a big black spider suspended over Little Miss Muffet-wannabes’ heads and a pillow for the comfort of those who enjoy catching 40 winks while on their daily trip. This interactive advertising campaign - a first in Singapore - allows the audience to become part of the advertisement just by their choice of seats - whether or not they realise it.
To further boost the element of fun and interactivity, friendly Singtel promoters will hop aboard the trains to seek out Singtel subscribers and help them find the perfect shot.
Singtel subscribers on these trains also can snap a shot of themselves or their friends against the backdrops and MMS their photos to 78667. Each MMS sent translates into a chance to be the proud owner of a Nokia N73 that features a 3.2 mega pixel auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics - guaranteed to please the most discerning shutterbug. Singtel is giving away one phone every week till 22 November 2006.
As an added bonus, sending an MMS only costs $0.05
* till 31 December 2006.
