Over the last decade, as title sponsor of the Singtel-Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer, we have supported the goal to raise awareness and funds for cancer patients and their families.
Today, our objective remains just as relevant - supporting children and youth whose lives have been affected by cancer. The Singtel Group contributes S$250,000 annually towards the Singapore Cancer Society’s Help the Children and Youth Programme. Since the race’s inception, Singtel has contributed S$2.75 million. The fund has supported SCS in setting up several initiatives that cater to the educational, financial and social needs of the young who are affected by cancer in the family. It is used for home tuition services, school allowance grants, annual book prizes, youth camps and family engagement activities.
