Soh Siew Kiat | 苏秀洁 (b. 1962, Singapore) has been popular for her detailed watercolour studies of local flowers, especially orchid hybrids like the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower. She has also painted in oil.

Soh trained at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (1982 to 1984), and at the University of Central England in Birmingham where she studied for a Master of Fine Arts degree (1991 to 1992). 

Soh has mostly participated in group exhibitions in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the United Kingdom between 1982 and 1997. As a young artist, she exhibited at the Second ASEAN Youth Painting Exhibition at the Malaysian National Art Gallery in 1984. She later exhibited at The Artists Village Open Studio Show in 1989. Accolades that she has received include a special award at the National Day Art Exhibition (1982), distinction awards at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Anniversary Art Exhibition (1982 to 1984) and the Dr Tan Tsze Chor Young Artists’ Art Award from the Singapore Art Society (1986). She also received an award of distinction at the UOB Painting of the Year (1987), a merit prize at the IBM Art Award (1988) and a silver medal at the Sir Whitworth Wallis Award (1992, Birmingham, the United Kingdom).

Soh’s art is in the collection of Singtel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other public and private corporations.
