Singtel will comply with all the laws concerning the protection of personal information, the Telecommunication Business Law and other applicable laws and regulations concerning the confidentiality of transmitted information, guidelines concerning the protection of personal information used in telecommunication businesses, as well as this Privacy Policy, across all the processes and opportunities in which Singtel obtains, uses or otherwise handles customers’ personal information. Please note that, on the Company’s website, customer browsing histories are collected by using cookies and the Company uses such information in conjunction with customer’s personal information. Collection of personal information
当社は、お客様から提供される申込書類その他の書面、お客様との電話や口頭でのやりとり、Eメールやウェブサイトを通じた情報の受信その他の方法をもって、お客様の個人情報を取得します。当社が収集する個人情報の種類には、氏名、住所、電話番号（FAX番号・携帯電話番号を含む）、メールアドレス、携帯メールアドレス、会社名・団体名、部署名・役職、勤務先所在地、その他連絡先に関する情報、生年月日、性別等が含まれます。
Singtel may collect customers’ personal information from written sources such as application documents provided by customers, from telephone or verbal communication with customers, by receiving information via e-mail or on website or in some other way. The types of personal information collected by Singtel include name, address, telephone number including fax number and mobile phone number, e-mail address, mobile mail address, company or group name, department and title, location of work, other contact information, date of birth, gender, etc.
Purposes of using personal information
当社が取得したお客様の個人情報の利用目的は、以下の通りとします。当社は、利用目的の達成に必要な範囲内でのみお客様の個人情報を取り扱います。
Customers’ personal information obtained by Singtel will be handled and used for the purposes stated below, to the extent necessary to achieve these purposes:
(1) 電気通信事業分野における各種サービスの提供業務（利用規約等に基づく契約内容の実施を含む）
Service offering in telecommunication businesses including implementation of contracts based on terms of use, etc.
(2) お客様からのお問合せへの対応、当社サービス利用に関する手続のご案内や情報の提供、アフターサービスその他当社サービスの提供にあたって必要な業務
Operations necessary for offering of Singtel’s services including after-sales service, responding to customer inquiries and giving notices and providing information to customers concerning their subscription to Singtel’s services;
(3) 課金計算等業務
Services including calculation of fees and charges;
(4) 料金御請求及び御支払い等業務
Billing of customers and processing of payments;
(5) 当社サービスの利便性向上、品質改善、新サービスの研究開発並びにこれらを目的としたマーケティング等の調査及び分析
Convenience and quality improvement of Singtel’s services and research development of new services as well as research and analysis including marketing-research activities for these purposes;
(6) お客様のニーズにあった当社及び関連会社等の商品、サービス及びキャンペーンの御案内、御提案、他社の広告の配信・表示・最適化等
Providing information, recommendations and proposals to customers concerning Singtel’s or its affiliate companies’ products, services and campaigns that may meet their needs and delivery, display and optimization of advertisements of other companies;
(7) アンケート調査その他の調査に関する業務
Operations with respect to surveys including questionnaire surveys; and
(8) 当社電気通信サービスについての工事、保守及び障害対応等のネットワーク管理
Engineering work, maintenance and network management including repair of failures in relation to Singtel’s telecommunication services.
Supervision over employees
当社は、お客様の個人情報の適切な安全管理が図られるよう従業者に対する必要かつ適切な監督をします。また、従業者に対して個人情報の適正な取扱いの確保のために必要な教育研修を実施します。
Singtel will maintain necessary and appropriate monitoring and supervision over its employees so that all the customers’ personal information will be managed and protected in accordance with proper security-management measures. In addition, Singtel will conduct necessary and appropriate employee education and training so that they will be able to handle customers’ personal information properly.
Security Control Measures
当社は、お客様の個人情報を適切に取り扱うため、個人情報を保管している日本及びシンガポールにおける個人情報の保護に関する制度を把握した上で、以下の安全管理措置を実施し、個人情報を処理する情報システムの安全を確保します。
In order to appropriately handle personal information of customers, we shall obtain an understanding of the regulations for the protection of personal information in Japan and Singapore where the personal information is stored, implement the following security control measures and ensure the security of the information system that processes personal information.
(1) 個人情報を取り扱う従業者および当該従業者が取り扱う個人情報の範囲を明確化し、個人情報保護法や個人情報の取扱いに関する社内規程に違反している事実または兆候を把握した場合の責任者への報告連絡体制を整備する
We shall clarify the scope of personal information handled by employees and the scope of employees handling personal information and shall establish a system to notify the person in charge of any violation of the Personal Data Protection Act and internal regulations concerning the handling of personal information.
(2) 個人情報の取扱いに関する留意事項について、従業者に定期的な教育を実施する
We shall regularly provide employees with education on matters of concern regarding the handling of personal information.
(3) 個人情報を取り扱う区域において、従業者の入退室管理および持ち込む機器等の制限を行うとともに、権限を有しない者による個人情報の閲覧を防止する措置を実施する
In areas where personal information is handled, we shall control employee access for the areas and limit bringing the devices therein, etc., and implement measures to prevent any unauthorized persons from accessing personal information,
(4) アクセス制御を実施して、担当者および取り扱う個人情報の範囲を限定する
We shall implement access controls to limit the scope of personnel and the scope of personal information handled.

当社は、以下の通り、お客様の個人情報を共同利用します。

Supervision over third party processors
当社は、顧客満足度のアンケート調査に関する業務、テレマーケティングに関する業務、その他のお客様の個人情報取扱いの全部又は一部を利用目的の範囲内で第三者に委託する場合があります。この場合において、委託先の選定にあたっては、委託先が個人情報を適正に取り扱っていることを確認するなどして、委託先に対してお客様の個人情報の適正な取扱いを求めます。また、委託先に対して必要かつ適切な監督を行います。
Singtel may delegate or subcontract all or part of its handling of personal information of customers, including operations with respect to customer satisfaction surveys and telemarketing, to third-party processors within the scope of Singtel’s purposes of use. In such cases, Singtel will select third party processors after duly confirming that they are capable of handling personal information properly, and will require them to handle personal information of Singtel’s customers properly. In addition, Singtel will conduct necessary and appropriate monitoring and supervision over such processors.
Provision to third parties
当社は、上記5.及び6.の場合又は関連法令等に規定されている場合を除き、お客様の同意を得ないで、第三者にお客様の個人情報を提供することはいたしません。
Singtel will not provide any customers’ personal information to any third party without obtaining each affected customer’s consent, unless in case of Article 5 and 6 as above or otherwise permitted by applicable laws or regulations.
Procedures of disclosure, correction, etc.
お客様が個人情報の利用目的の通知、個人情報の開示、訂正、削除等を希望される場合は、当社が定める手続に従って下さい。具体的には、個人情報の開示については別紙1を、個人情報の訂正、削除等については別紙2をご記入いただき、下記送付先までご郵送ください。ダウンロードができない場合やご質問がある場合には、お問い合わせフォームよりご連絡下さい。
Customers who wish to know the purposes of Singtel’s use of his/her personal information or who need disclosure, correction, removal or other handling of his/her personal information, should submit a request to Singtel in accordance with the procedures specified by Singtel. More specifically, customers should fill in Appendix 1 below for disclosure of personal information and/or Appendix 2 below for correction, removal, etc., of personal information, and send the completed form to the following address. In the case of failure to download, or if customers have any questions, please contact Singtel from the inquiry form.
