Protect Plan: The Protect Plan is for selected customers only. The Protect Plan is bundled with 5GB local data and has a 1-month minimum subscription. Customers will be given 100 local minutes talk time and 100 local SMS monthly. Monthly subscription will be chargeable at $4.90. Protect Plan is only valid for sign up as a new line or port-ins of non-Singtel numbers with an eSIM. Protect plan is not eligible for sign up as a change plan or recontract from an existing Singtel mobile plan.
Unless otherwise stated, Protect Plan is not eligible for Mobile Plan discounts, cross-product bundles, Bill Rebates and Red Rewards points.
Free Caller ID: Eligible customers on Protect Plan will enjoy free Caller ID service bundled with their plans.
Termination: If the Protect Plan is terminated before the expiry of the minimum subscription period by the customer for any reason whatsoever, or by Singtel as a consequence of any breach by the customer of any of the obligations or duties of the customer, the entire month’s fees will still be payable and early termination charges will apply on the unfulfilled balance of the minimum subscription period. Early termination charges will also apply if there is a change plan within the minimum subscription period. There are no early termination charges to change instrument from Protect Plan to any SIM Only, XS/S/M/L/Pro/Fam Phone Plan or MobileShare plans at any time during the minimum subscription period, but all free data/talktime/SMS/MMS will be terminated. However, if the Protect Plan is terminated after the minimum subscription period by the customer for any reason whatsoever, or by Singtel as a consequence of any breach by the customer of any of the obligations or duties of the customer, the fees chargeable and payable by the customer shall be a pro-rated amount from the month’s fee.
Free Local data, talktime, SMS/MMS add-ons on Protect Plan: In the event that there are any promotional campaigns involving free local data, talktime, SMS/MMS add-ons on Protect Plan, such add-ons will be provided to customer as stated within the promotional campaign. If there is any change in the add-ons subscribed, or if the line is terminated, temporarily suspended, transferred or if there is a change of plan, the free data, talktime and SMS/MMS will be terminated immediately, even if the line is still within the minimum subscription period. Excess data usage charges of $10.90 per GB capped at $191.51/mth apply. Promotions are only valid with new sign up to a Protect Plan with minimum subscription. This promotion cannot be combined with other promotions.
Auto-Subscription to ReadyRoam:
(a) Protect Plan is bundled with free Auto-Subscription to ReadyRoam, and the most affordable ReadyRoam plan will be activated on Singtel’s preferred operator networks, upon detection of roaming data usage in the destination you are in. ReadyRoam plan subscription rates and terms and conditions apply.
(b) Your roaming data usage will be deducted in the following order (where applicable): (i) DataRoam Unlimited Daily plan for the days subscribed; (ii) UnlimitedRoam14 Days plan; (iii) the bundled roaming data under the Protect Plan; and (iv) the roaming data under other data roaming plans.
(c) In the event that you unsubscribe from Auto-Subscription to ReadyRoam, our prevailing standard per-pay-use rates shall apply for any data roaming usage
Free Mobile Protect: Applicable for Singtel Protect Plan sign-ups. Upon signing up for Protect Plan, customers will be auto-enrolled for Mobile Protect. The subscription for Mobile Protect is free for customers under the Protect Plan, unless customer opts out of Mobile Protect at checkout or subsequently unsubscribed. Should the customer switch the Protect Plan to another Mobile Plan, the customer will no longer qualify for free Mobile Protect and the charges for Mobile Protect will immediately become chargeable, unless Mobile Protect has been unsubscribed by customer. Other Terms and Conditions: The Protect Plan is subject to Singtel’s General Consumer Terms and Conditions (“General Terms”) and Specific Post-paid Mobile Terms and Conditions (“Specific Terms”) (both available at https://www.singtel.com/personal/terms) and Singtel’s Data Protection Policy (available at https://www.singtel.com/data-protection), which shall be incorporated herein by reference and apply with full force and effect. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms or Specific Terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
Governing law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and each customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore
