In the midst of a scorching day, the Yellow Flame tree stands tall. To produce this painting, Javier experimented with different textures by using common everyday materials such as a comb and cotton buds. With the humble comb, Javier brought out the dark grassland and with the simple cotton buds, Javier dabbed yellow ochre for the tree leaves. His creative use of everyday items results in a wonderful landscape that welcomes the beginning of the day. With the soft clouds, we drift into relaxation, having our worries pinned on the clouds.​
