To use an eSIM in Singapore, your device must first be carrier-unlocked.
Here's how to check:
iPhone: Go to Settings > General > About. If "No SIM restrictions" appears next to Network Provider, it's unlocked.
Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators > Turn off Automatic option. If you see a list of other available carriers, it's likely unlocked.
