GST Rate Change

The new GST rate of 9% will be applicable on all chargeable services and items billed from 1st January 2024. These items include, but are not limited to the following:
• Monthly recurring charges (e.g. Mobile, Fixed Voice, Broadband, TV, Digital Content etc)
• One-time charges
• Usage charges
• Billing charges collected on behalf of Third Party

All subscription service charges billed in 2023 and paid in full by 31st December 2023, will be subjected to the current GST rate of 8%.

The new GST rate of 9% will apply to subscription service charges billed from 1st January 2024.

Regardless of payment status, charges for subscription services before 1st January 2024 will be subjected to GST rate of 8%.

Charges for subscription services from 1st January 2024 onwards will be subjected to the new GST rate of 9%.

No, the remaining monthly instalment payments will not be subjected to the new GST rate as the product was delivered/collected prior to the GST rate change. Only purchases made on or after 1 January 2024 will be subjected to 9% GST.

For instalment payment arrangement via bank debit/credit cards or Atome, the monthly repayment amount will remain unchanged. Please refer to your respective bank or Atome for more information.
