No internet connection, calls and SMS on eSIM

Make sure your eSIM is set up correctly by doing the following:

  1. Turn on eSIM in device settings.

    iOS: Settings > Mobile Service > Select eSIM > Toggle ‘Turn On This Line’ to “On”

    Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Select eSIM > Toggle ‘Use SIM’ to “On”

    Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Select eSIM > Toggle “On”


  2. Select eSIM as default for data.

    iOS: Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data > Select eSIM

    Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Select eSIM > Toggle ‘Mobile Data’ to “On”

    Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Mobile data > Select eSIM

    Check how to select the right eSIM.


  3. Select eSIM as default for voice line. This lets you make calls from the mobile number tied to your eSIM.

    iOS: Settings > Mobile Service > Default Voice Line > Select eSIM

    Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Call Preference > Select eSIM

    Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Preferred SIMs > Calls > Select eSIM


  4. Restart your device.
